Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital, Ifakara, Tanzania

Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital at Ifakara in Tanzania is a joint venture of the Missionaries
of Compassion, the Catholic Diocese of Ifakara and the Italian Bishops Conference (CEI)
which has made a larger contribution in the realization of this project. Once completed, this
hospital will serve at least 7 Regions of Tanzania namely Morogoro, Ruvuma, Lindi, Iringa,
Mbeya, Rukwa and Mtwara having a population of about 5.5 million people as a Regional
Referral Hospital.

Despite the many challenges encountered during the execution of the project, we have been experiencing God’s constant guidance and protection in carrying out the implementation of this project.  We thank God that the project has reached near completion and that the Good Samaritan Cancer Hospital will shortly be at the service of the people.
