On 19th October 2013 we have started our new mission in the diocese of Dibrugrah at Ornalpur in the boundary of Nagaland and Assam. – our first mission in the state of Assam.

Together with Rev. Fr. Jose Kaimlett, the Founder, Rev. Fr. Raju Mathew Panackal, the Superior General, Rev. Fr. Xavier Thekkumkattil and Rev. Fr. George Varakukala, the preists of Missionaries of Compassion serving in the North East India missions were present for the blessing of the new mission.

Our missionaries are present in the North East India in the diocese of Miao in Arunachal Pradesh at Lazu, Tirap Dist., from  August 2006 when the Catholic Lazu Mission was entrusted to the Missionaries of Compassion by Rt. Rev. George P.K., the bishop of Miao.
